Age of Saints
The concept of Welshness, as we now know it, came into existence after the departure of the Romans from these shores in the year 383AD. The period that followed is often described as one of our cultural golden ages with the Celtic Church producing over 800 Welsh saints.
From our Patron Saint, Dewi (David), to Saint Patrick of Irish fame (yes – he was Welsh too!) through to designs found across the Celtic nations, our Age of Saints collection offers not only exquisite pieces of jewellery, but also an insight into historical and sometimes mythical stories that lay behind their creation.
