Land of Song

Singing is as much a part of Welsh tradition and character, and is as ingrained into our identity, as our rugby is!

Reciting poetry and singing to the accompaniment of a harp, known as cerdd dant in Welsh, can be traced back to medieval times, and has been carried forward through the ages in choirs, chapels and our annual National Eisteddfod.

Each design in our collection is inspired by elements of our musical ethos from nursery rhymes, to popular songs to our nation’s musical symbol – the Welsh triple harp.
