An original design by Rhiannon, in the form of an open heart with a small Akoya pearl suspended at the centre. It has been named after a famous vineyard in France which produces wine of that name, featuring a heart on the label. The source of the name is ancient and unknown, but it is likely to have some connection with Brittany, Cornwall or Wales, the word Calon meaning heart in all three relevant languages.
