The Journey Begins

It was 1971 when my mother first opened the centre in Tregaron. The business and our family have grown a lot since then. Rhiannon has fifteen grandchildren with another on the way at the moment.

Originally a showcase centre for high quality hand made crafts from Wales and the other living Celtic nations, today the centre itself has expanded and is home to three jewellery workshops, a jewellery showroom, an art and craft gallery, the Museum of Celtic Art and a cafe with ‘the best coffee for 100 miles’.

All of this in the small, relatively isolated, Welsh market town of Tregaron (pop. 1050).

This week we venture into pastures new with our first structured digital presence. I have already met one or two trolls, taken a crash course from some experts in social media and marketing and learnt some interesting things about my own family and business in the process! Somehow I have also been persuaded to blog weekly for anyone interested in my ramblings about jewellery, business, Tregaron, Wales, diamonds, precious metals, family and more.

Life should be an adventure – this one should be fun!
